If you want a kind world BE KIND, if you want a LOVING world BE LOVE, if you want to LIVE SUSTAINABLY, BE IT. if you want democracy BE INVOLVED. At the end of the day YOU AND ME, we are all responsible for the shape of our world.
Make no mistake the world is in a desperate situation (visit David Suzuki or
Worldwatch Institute). There is no point blaming others or creating enemies
(negativity). It is better to look at ourselves and try to heal the hurts
within us and make the world a better place through our positive thoughts,
words and actions (love). I know it is a challenge, I am not perfect, but I try
to create peace in small and large ways. We all make mistakes but we can learn.
So if you feel inspired by this site, sit down and reflect on what
your love would do to create a better world. I would love to help you make
a step.
If you want to create positive change, here are some ideas for your
consideration:
First step . Be an example and Be Peace . Think, speak and be PEACE in your own life. Greatness is not big or small it can be in a simple smile or saying sorry, it is being love, joy and truth. Imagine what you wish to become and create it. We have the power to do it you know! Inner work is actually the most important first step (see Get informed re: Peace Pilgrim). Second step . Learn about Peace issues (see Get informed menu). Third step . Get involved with others of like-mind. It is very important to be with people that inspire you. Contact OWN Empowerment if you would like to be involved. Fourth step . Be part of groups to expand your awareness of other people's ideas. Create a Peace Study Group , join one or have regular World Peace Parties to bring people together to talk about peace. Contact OWN for ideas. Fifth step . Create your own projects or sponsor others who are creating positive peace. You are welcome to sponsor OWN projects. Sixth step . Make contact with other groups. Every thought, word and action is a ripple on the ocean of life. You would be amazed if you knew the impact you make. For when you keep thinking about it, ideas pop into your mind and actions will soon follow. So show the world your light don't hide it anymore. I know it is beautiful. The world now needs hope for humanity to survive. |
