Many despair at the shape of the world and believe we are doomed. I am a Fool for Peace and I am here to say we are not doomed we are on the precipice of great change.

This change is a decision.

Do we create a Dystopian future of fear and control by investing in violence?

Do we create a Happy future of peace and fearlessness by investing in peace?

The latter will catalyse a sustainable planet where we share, care, reveal and heal our world.

Peace and happiness cannot be caused by anyone outside of yourself. It is coming from inside each and every one of us. This is why Mahatma Gandhi said in India as a message to the world “Be the Change You Wish to See in the World”. Only you can be peace, only you can be happy but it is up to you to make a change inside yourself.

Susan Carew decided to travel the world to teach peace. When the decision was made, the trip fell into place and she had just enough to make this dream real. This trip around the world changed her life and changed the life of others by stepping out of the comfort zone and believing in people and life.

She realised any fool can change the world. All you have to do, is believe in yourself and follow your own dream.

THE DAY BEFORE MY MOTHER JUDY-CAREW FRIEND DIED 13/1/23 (one year later)

My mother 7 months earlier had a foot ulcer and after treatment with medications and medical care, she dies of kidney failure, sepsis (unknown organism) and gangrene in her foot. She was given Midazolam and Hydromorphone that she did not consent to.
